Artist Statement

---------------------

Magaly Vega was born in
Mexico City in 1986.
She is a visual storyteller interested in the violent reality/nature that we can’t control that clashes in our simple yet magical way to deal with daily life.

She likes the idea of creating fictions that seemed quite "real".
Stories that we can relate, between the familiar
and the oddness, she plays.
